A NSW nursing home in Sydney’s west suffered a devastating loss in 2011 when a deliberately lit fire broke out. Twenty-one people lost their lives in the fire, leading to the NSW Government mandating installation of automatic fire sprinkler safety systems for all nursing homes in 2013.
