FPAS accredited and expert designers
DEM Fire has grown from a family business of four to a team of over 80 – and we never outsource.
Our fire safety experts are highly skilled in diverse sectors and knowledgeable about all Australian industry standards.
Changes to NSW legislative requirements in recent years mean that fire safety practitioners must now be fully accredited in order to assess and endorse fire measures for Annual Fire Safety Statements. We’re one of the few fire protection companies to have FPAS Accredited Practitioners in both Fire Design and Fire Safety in-house.
Our project team provides full design, costings and plans for retrofits or entire new fire protection systems. And we work to scale – from schools and stadiums to major hospitals, commercial & retail properties and strata buildings that have complex fire protection requirements for hundreds or thousands of tenants.

CDC management
We have worked extensively on Complying Development Certification (CDC), so we understand the full criteria for the State Environmental Planning Policy.
We conduct on-site assessments, submit concept drawings, and work to the National Construction Code of Australia. With CDC specialists on-site, we can provide solution design that meets all council CDC requirements and offer our customers a 48-hour CDC guarantee.
